Brian Charles Lara..Amazing strokeplayer..broke all the previous records and was the first man to score 400 runs in a test innings..this was how a paper put what cricket is in a perspective..
In cricket, a batsman -- comparable to a hitter in baseball -- tries to score as many runs as possible over any length of time until the bowler -- comparable to a pitcher -- or fielder gets him out.
It's a notable achievement when a batsman reaches 100 runs, called a "century."
I have always loved watching Lara bat..with that exaggerated backlift and full flowing follow through..and he was (is??) a murderer..though inconsistent of late..a King will always be a king !!

Day before I was facing biiig problem..no computer to work on :( Then I realized how much time I spend on computer !!
The problem started when I tried to install software for USB to Bluetooth adapter. Win98 does not even recognise the BT funda :( Frantic calls to ajit and anya (both supposedly doing Masters in Computer Science..haaaaaa!!) could not help me..ajit is loosing his touch with these machines it seems !! First time he was unable to bring me on the right track..Ajya..think of this as a wake up call..
In any case..I made excellent use of the time I had..watched a complete football (read soccer) match ..UEFA Champions league quarterfinal encounter between Chelsea and Arsenal ..Chelsea prevailed after a classic match..even though I am not following the Champions league as I used to but my opinion that Gunners are real chokers was confirmed :)
Okay..now to how I solved my problem..
in the safe mode..go to device manager..Remove all the duplicate devices..courtsey-Win98 and in device manager I had unknown devices for BT..removed them...ran scanreg.exe changed the registry date and there I was..using my machine to full capacity..and If u think I knew all of this then obviously you are horribly mistaken...we can coin a phrase.."All answers lie on the internet" ... Google zindabaad ;)
